Spare tire holder

On June 2nd We bought a 2016 375fl (new). Yesterday I was checking over the unit getting ready for our first trip. As I was checking the tire pressures I crawled underneath to check the spare. The valve stem was not accessible so I decided to drop it and rotate it so I could get at the valve. The knob that needs to be removed to drop the tire carrier was rusted in place. After some work with WD40 and a pair of channel locks I was able to free it up. Glad I found it out before I needed it. Good thing I did as the tire was only at 70Lbs.

Great catch! Not only does road salt get up there, but if you spend time in Arizona or other western states, the dirt roads will be very heavy in salt content and all it takes is to hit one when it's wet and salt will get attached to the bottom of your rig.

Only used that puppy once when I had marathon blowout #1! Try doing it beside the highway and you will start carrying that spare in the truck bed as I do. John
