Changing 3 steps to 4
Latest change on our rig was, a 3 step to a 4 step. This was not an easy one to do, but worth it, went from a 9" rise to about 7 1/2". There was some cutting on the bracket where it bolts up to. This should be a two man job, but I did it myself (not good lots of bad words) but it's done. (The pieces I cut are to the left of the steps.)

Nice job...Larry!
Looks like that will be my next project.
Where did you buy those stairs? Were they pricey?
Have a nice day,
Roy

Zoweee is right! Assuming this was a purchased stair or did you modify what you had? How does the 4 stair look folded up?
Have some friends with the new 3485 high step that might be interested. I have a hard time getting up and down their stairs after about the 5th pitcher of margaritas.

Ba Da Bing, Ba Da Boom, Great job Larry, it looks like it could have given you a few choice words on the install by yourself.
I bet it seem differant when going up now with a smaller rise.

That is why we got the small steps, too many margaritas in Mexico, couldn't get my leg that high. Here is the steps folded up.
John
The steps are made by Elkhart Tool & Die, you may find the steps other places, but I don't think any cheaper.

You will have to come over when we get to the RGV, and check it out. If it is what you want, I can help you with it like I said, it is a two man job to make it easer.

This is not an easy job, you have to do some cutting on the hanger bracket, it also needs an adjustable support, otherwise it is a little spongy.
