Furnace Controls

What was the location of the new thermostat installed by Montana to replace the kind with the remote control that did not work?

Hello Bob & gay,

Welcome to the MOC. With out knowing what model your trailer is, it might be hard to say.
I would think they would mount it where the remote receiver was. they would have to use the wires
from there.

The present location is next to the slide (TV and desk) 4 inches from the outside wall. The model is 2005 3400RL. You don't put your home thermostat on an outside wall....why do they? I am having this moved, paid for by Montana and I will insist that they put it on the wall by the stairs. The furnace location is with the Water heater under the kitchen counter.

We also have an 05 3400. Our thermostat is in the same place and once we changed to the CCC have had no problems keeping our unit at a nice even temperature. Stick house thermostat locations don't always make sense. Ours is in the hall so the hall is nice and comfortable but nothing else in the house is as comfortable.
Happy trails.......................
