The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly..Part II

Well as some of you know, I purchased a new 06 Mountaineer and have had some major problems with stuff falling apart inside. (other post) Well....I'm happy to announce that we took our first trip this past weekend where nothing fell off, came apart, broke, collapsed etc. I didn't have to fix anything the entire weekend!!.. For those who have wondered whether installing a Trailair pin box was worth the money, I am convinced after just one trip with the new hitch it is worth every hard earned dollar. Like I mentioned, we had no casualties in the fiver (maybe because I fixed all the issues), and the improved ride with the Trailair is unbelievable. We actually arrived at the campground and didn't feel as if we had taken a beating. It is really amazing to watch the hitch in action while traveling down the road and it is absorbing bumps and shocks that you don't feel in the truck. A few more trips out like the last one and I might even be able to say I like my fiver!!!

Wonderful news. We tend to agree about air pin/hitch situation.

Now, go forth and REALLY enjoy that purdy unit!
