New Level-up problem, need help

Well on way home from Quartzite, drive side middle and rear landing gear keeps going down. First I thought it was just gravity pulling them down. But after it broke 3/8" rope 3 times. I had to use ratchet strap, rated at 1500 lbs to hold them up. It had so much pressure that it bent the foot plate to the point I have to get a new one and they are atleast 1/8" steel.
I call Lippett to no help. Only one year warrantee. Going to try Keystone in morning.
Anyone else have this problem..

It sounds like one of the hydraulic valves on the valve block inside the front compartment is leaking which is allowing the fluid to push the jacks down. I doubt Keystone is going to be able to do you any good. Hopefully you can find a tech that is very familiar with these systems.

I read of someone having the same problem. They had to cap off the affected strut and hyd line to prevent losing the hydraulic fluid. I cant find the link that had the part numbers.
You should be able to go to an auto parts store and get them.

Download the MyLCI app. It has hydraulic troubleshooting instructions.

The mid and rear leveler legs operate in Tandem on each side.. What affects mid leveler with also affect rear leveler for that side..

There is a separate solenoid valve for each side set of leveler legs (mid and rear).. I’d first verify the manual override screw for the affected side is fully closed.. easy to check with 1/8 inch Allen wrench.

If it’s good then most likely you’ve either got a solenoid valve that’s not fully closing or you have an internal bypassing cylinder on either the mid or rear leveler leg on affected side..

This is also quite easy to verify if one of the cylinders is bypassing by following Lipperts simple test.. sec second pic

Hydraulic pressure used to keep leveler jacks retracted is well over 2000 psi so follow safety precautions when working on pressurized system
