Residential King mattress

Hello all,

Has anyone replace the RV king mattress 80x72 with a residential king 80x76? Were there any fitment issues?

We replaced the mattress in our 2007 3400RL within weeks of delivery with a residential sleep number. Had to extend the plywood platform a little and the bed has to be lifted to close the bedroom slide. It's tight making it up but both I and DW would never go back to any RV bed.

Took our rv king out and put in a eastern king. Slid right in no issues and way more comfortable!
