Illinois State Fair Grounds

We have recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend in both fairground locations. Springfield and Duquoin. Both camps had the nicest host we have ever met. They really went out of their way to give us the best possible sites available. They were constantly on patrol to assist all campers. Best of all the price is right at both places although we had to use the dump station in Duquoin as no full hookups were available.

It seems some of the best things about rving are the wonderful people we get to interact with ,and the seemingly endless choices of things to see and places to go to. What could be better than this!???

Thanks for the info. Springfield is occaionally an overnight stop for us (once a destination stop, too). We used to go to Mr. Lincoln's CG but they've shut down. So we'll keep the fairgrounds in mind. Thanks!
