Texas hill country roads

Anyone planning to travel thru the Texas hill country any time soon should check ahead for road conditions due to flooding. Some bridges have been washed out and a number of, mostly secondary, highways are closed. The only main highway I am aware of is US 377 south of Junction. But other smaller highways are closed in the same area as well as around the Mason, Llano, and Marble Falls areas. Unfortunately there was a loss of several lives when an RV park in Junction was washed away.

We just got back from there on Sunday. We were about a mile from the FM 2900 bridge that got wiped out. We had to drive right next to the bridge entrance to go to the HEB. Also 1431 in Kingsland is closed due to flooding but I think the bridge is OK last a saw. Those are 2 major roads for getting into and out of Kingsland. We were staying the week at Lighthouse Golf course RV park.
