Where is the water pump?

Hope this is the right forum for this question. While looking at the new Mountaineers we asked the "salesman" where the water pump was located and he thought about it for awhile and then pointed to the bulkhead in the basement and said it was back in there somewhere.
We have decided on the 303RLD and if anyone knows for sure where it is, please let us know. Thanks in advance, Bob

Just a guess we had the same thing happen to us,on the Mountaineer Edition for winterizing it. Found a removable panel in the wall unit on the left side as you look at it. Hope it helps.

I could be wrong but every unit I've seen has the water pump pretty close to the tank filler / city water inlet. That's where I'd start looking.

On our 3575 it is under the cabinet where you come in the door. Pull cabinet drawer out & there it is.

I also have a 3575, however, my water pump is located under the bottom drawer to the right of the fridge.

Where does the noise come from when the pump is turned on?

Water pump noise can come from a number of places, and you'll get more spots than I can name. The pump itself generates some noise which is usually isolated by the rubber mounts on its base. We had a lot of noise in our '05 2980RL from the water lines behind the shower wall which were vibrating from the cycling of the pump. We had the dealer pull out the shower and isolate/insulate the lines under warranty. It was better, but not great. Eventually, I pulled the pump and put in a Shur-Flo variable speed pump which helped even more, but there's still some noise. The pump in our previous rig ('01 Wanderer 256RK TT) was much quieter, even though it was half the price of our Montana.

The water pump is in the kitchen lower cabinet unit. Pull out the bottom drawer and you can see it.

Thanks for all of input everyone. SlickWillie has the same rig we are looking at so I suspect he is right on the money unless Keystone hides them like Easter Eggs. A different place each time they build one.
