New 3400RL

Picking up our new 3400RL on Saturday and are so excited. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check out in particular when we are doing our walk thru. We have had a Montana 3280, but want to be sure to be thorough in looking for things we might not even think of. Appreciate all comments from all of you.

Make sure the oven works. When the guy at the dealer tried, it wouldn't start and we just said, "Oh, well get it going". Nope. Also, check for any damage to the woodwork. I found two or three small spots that were nicked and had them touch them up. So far, nothing major with our 3400RL though. It's a mobile palace. Well.....apartment house anyway. Good luck. I know you'll have fun.

I meant 'we'll get it going', not 'well get it going'.

Congratulations on your new rig! Do a search for "pdi" (pre delivery checklist). We used this on our walk through, it is very thorough and helps assure that everything is checked. Good Luck!

Welcome aboard Harold and Theresa! Know you will enjoy your new Monty. I just love the kitchen in the 3400. When we took delivery of our Monty a few months ago, we used the PDI that we obtained from this web site. Was extremely helpful. Have lots of fun loading up the new home! Many happy trails to you .....
