Mice under counter, where do they come from??

Now that we have the tank problem temp. solved.
Here is another pestering problem.
We have mouses under the u shaped kitchen counter.
Have caught one per day for the last 4 days.
I put expandable foam when we had the black tank problem, to fill in the sink drain hole and the electical/water hole.
Does anyone have anymore suggestions as to where they are getting in from????
We are parked at camp in the woods, so they are everywhere outdoors.
Decon not an option as we have the cat's and dogs with us.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

We have been dealing with this too.

Al caulked shut all the little holes where that black under belly stuff is (our spaces were pretty big for the gorilla tape, but that is an option)

Open up around your hot water heater and all drains and put steel wool or something like that in the holes. Al thinks ours got in where the drain for the kitchen sink goes down. We are also plugging up the areas in the propane tank area, look UP and in ours there is a 1 to 2 inch opening all along the top, we will be using hardware cloth or something like that in that big hole.

They can get in the smallest holes, really irritating. Al is worried about what they might do to the electronics and wiring, we have heard they love wiring. GULP!!!

There was a long thread on this in July 06, that I started, maybe open up my profile and look around for my posts and thread on it. Lots of really good responses and ideas in there.

Good luck

Carol

Sven and Pat,
Sorry you have had so many problems lately. I know things are going to get better real soon!
Meanwhile what's up with the cat? Make him/her do their job!

carlson,
In addition to what was mentioned earlier, check the area on each side of the 5er where the springs are attached. You will probably find a space on each side where the mice can get in. Also consider putting hardware cloth over the openings where the rear stabilizers are. You might check under the cabinet where your water pump is located, there may be adequate space there for those rascals to come in. I filled this area in with steel wool.
Good luck!
