New Entry Deck/Steps

There was a topic awhile back on making your Montana easier for folks to get in and out of that may have limited mobility. I have a wood 4'x4' entry deck and steps I keep at our home base CG. We really missed having a similar set-up the other 7 or 8 months out of the year.

Did some research and found this one: http://www.hofmannccr.com

It wasn't cheap but very high quality. Since I ordered the package that will allow me to turn the steps in any direction, I suspect my total additional weight to haul this unit will be about 250 pounds. So I am in the process of dropping some weight in other places to make up for it.

I picked the unit up from a trucking terminal. When I arrived back at our RV resort it took me about 10 minutes to set it up. These are extremely nice units.

Glad to here it's what you expected. For folks with issues these aren't just a luxury.

That setup looks really interesting. Appears to be sturdy and solid and I like the look of it. Are you going to carry it in your basement compartment or in the back of the truck?

Those do look interesting! We actually have a large deck at our home base campground and when we leave to travel find the original stairs quite an adjustment to get used to again.

That was our exact issue, we get spoiled because of our set-up at our home base CG. If traveling for 3 or 4 weeks and moving around it wasn't bad using the OEM steps, but now staying put in SW Florida for almost 4.5 months we really started missing a deck and steps.
