Nice Generator, good quality products

Edit: got the first picture too big, fixed it should have double checked it.

The name is on great tools, don't know if the generator is made with the same quality in mind, but would assume so.
The Generators are twinnable if that was a word.. it is now...
I see the starting wattage is 2200, that would help with loads such a s A/C units, but I did notice it has normal running wattage peak of 1800 Watts.
Anyone have one?
The price looks to have been lowered from ???
Not a bad buy.

For that price I would wonder about the inverter. Is it pure sine wave on modified sine wave? See if the specs say what the sound level is too. Other than that Ryobi makes some decent tools.

Certainly cheap. dB rating has it at 63 dB's as opposed to Honda 2200 at 53-59 dB's. Maybe be a good lower priced alternative to some.

It seems to be a device that fits between the two gen's, the cords go to both of the units and the 30 amp plug is in the middle. a bit cumbersome..
I think it is a modified sine

Oz - that's not enough power to run your 15k btu AC. I couldn't with either of the Yamaha 2400is generators I had. Get a Harbor Freight 4k peak, 3.4k running one if you're not going to be running it a lot. They're a little noisier, but not bad, and cheap. I'll show you the one we've got at the rally if you're interested. Works great when staying an truck stops (the semi's are noiser!).

Thanks Walt, but I have two twin 2000i Honda's, and a Parallel kit I made for the A/C units. I just wanted to share a gen I haven't seen much of.
How do you like your Solar? Is there anything you would do different on it and any tips for me on going Solar?
Always good to hear from a man what's been there!

I came across this generator at Costco. It has a few features I would like to have on my Honda and a 3 yr. warranty

Wow Charlie can you spell Rip-off Honda? Same color and everything. The fine print shows surge 2000 watts, sustained 1600
Not a Honda by any means.

The Costco gennys are a good option. Yamaha powered, 3 year warrantee, pure sine wave, quiet running, parallel connection to another genny for 33 amp peak/27 amps continuous @ 120v.

The parallel kit is $60, but you could make one or a lot less than that.

If these had been available at the time I bought my Honda eu2000i and eu2000i Companion, I would have taken a long, hard look at them and probably saved myself $800.

....but I'm very happy with my two Hondas. Just used them with the extended-run marine fuel tank that I made, for a couple weeks in SoCal. Nice and cool during the heat wave!!!

My friend has the Costco Gen and that thing is QUIET and it works just right for a lot of us folks that just need a gen for a power outage in a storm and do not need to run any Air Cond
