I have to stay away from RV shows

We just signed the paperwork for a 2010 3400RL Hickory Edition and will be picking it up tomorrow. We're really looking forward to learning about the trailer through this forum and hope to get together with some of you in the future.

Welcome to "The Best Darned Forum on the WWW!" Don't forget to go to the owner's page and downloading the PDI so you can become completely familiar with the unit before you pick it up. May save you some grief later....Otherwise, welcome and don't be shy. Questions?????? Ask away, many experts here and a lot of experience on these pages.......I love the Hickory Editions and are a little envious of you, but we really like our 3400 and have made too many upgrades to trade it in. Hope to see you on the road someday.......

BTW: In April of '08, I took my '05 2500 Chevy into a Chevy dealer for an oil change and I drove out with a '08 3500 Dually. I definitely need to stay away from these shows......

Welcome aboard and congratulations! As Phil said, this is a great place to learn and to find help if needed. We too like our 3400 and have done so many modifications we'll keep it for a long while. Still, that Hickory Edition sure is beautiful!

In case you've not noticed yet, about 75 of our rigs are headed to a MOC national rally near the factory in Goshen, IN. The rally begins Monday. I see you are from Texas so likely are not close enough to "drop by." But, the 2010 Spring National Rally will be in Kerrville, TX next March. Details are in another section of this forum. Hope you can make it.

From one 3400 owner to another congrats and may you enjoy that new rig for many years to come. As you can see ours is a 2007, which we just love, but those many upgrades to a 2010 are very tempting at times. Guess we had better stay away from those RV shows for the near future!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll be sure to check out the PDI before I pick up the trailer.
