I'm new to this fuel issue. Are we talking about low sulfur diesel? If so, what is the change that you are talking about? What impact does it have, if any, on a '02 F350?

Don't want to hyjack the thread but you can read about it here.

Your truck will run on both but you may have to use an additive. I am using Power Service every few tanks. 2007 models and later must use ULSD. Right now it is hard to find between here and Kansas but I am sure some stations carry it. It will be all ULSD by 2010. Calif is 100% ULSD now.

David,
If you find a used ford diesel you like with reasonable mileage, ask the dealer to key in the VIN in order to see what repairs have been made. The dealer can get a copy of all repair work.
The diesel motor will have a 100,000 mile warranty. The transmission warranty is 36,000 miles.
Good luck!

Weldon,
While I'm not sure about the GMs, I DO know about the Dodges and believe that all 3 kinds have this capability.
FWIW, our local D/C dealer also handles GM, Mazda, and, at another location, Ford products.
Additionally, for basic info, a CARFAX report is pretty handy, too.

Pardon my ignorance, but just what is CARFAX and how is it used?

David,
Here is a link that will explain more.
http://www.carfax.com/
If you order a report from the website there is a charge. If you have a dealership pull the report, it is usually free to you as the dealership has already paid the membership.

Emmel...don't know what your reference is, but the 3500 drw Silverado D/A is 23500. Last month I ordered a 2007 Classic drw D/A cc...it's 23500, too.
