Where's the galley tank dump valves?

Kitchen Sink wont drain, monitor says galley tank full, cant find dump valve for galley. During PDI said this model does not have a galley tank. I have looked everywhere, short of climbing on top ! I dumped the black, and gry tanks, moniter level dropped, but not the galley tank ! !!

Send a message via AIM to stengels
If not in the convenience center, then in the vicinity of the street side tires.

Look behind the drivers side rear Monty tire. Should be a handle sticking out of the frame a few inches to the right of the tire facing you. Under the slideout.

Actually they put them in several places, but all near the street side tires. Ours is in front of the first tire coming out of the frame. i've also seen between the tires and behind the rear tire.

Really bad location BTW: I had a tire blow and ripped the black plastic handle off. Now I have to use vice grips to grab the hollow aluminum tubing. Eventually I will try to tap some threads into the shaft that now only sticks out a 1/2 inch.

I'm glad you found it. I tried to do a google search of images and it was of no help to me. So I could not help in that aspect. Sorry
Chris

Congratulations on finding the valve. We had the opposite problem. Ours was open, had to look hard to find when we needed to close it.

This is one thing I've loved about having a Montana so far. The cat/mouse game about finding the third dump valve. Can't tell you how comforting it is to know I'm not the only one who was given the challenge, fought the good fight, and finally found the third valve. Probably could start a whole 'nother category that just deals with this issue!

Hi

Our trailer was so poorly built that the hole for the rod to the handle was not in line with the valve and the road vibrations cause the rod to break.

Now find the handle. LOL
