Revamped KOA on I95 in NC

Rosetta and I took a tour of a former KOA that has been revamped. The campground is under new ownership and is now called Raleigh Oaks just off I-95, exit 90 in NC. We were pretty impressed at the change. The sites are wide and long beginning at 40 feet. The roads and sites are gravel. The campground has 18 bathrooms that have tile walls and floors and very clean. The bathrooms also has a shower in it. There are two swimming pools, a billiard room, exercise room, lounge with a kitchen area, and laundry room.

If you are traveling on I95 this would be an excellent stop over or longer if you so desire.

Another campground to put down in our book for positives! Thanks George and have a great trip! Come on up to Nebraska, we're having temps in the 50's,60's and possibly even 70's by the end of next week. Might have to hook up the Monte and head out ourselves for some early camping here in Nebraska!
