Dog Haiku

Dog Haiku

01.

I love my master;

Thus I perfume myself with

This long-rotten squirrel.

02.

I lie belly-up

In the sunshine, happier than

You ever will be.

03.

Today I sniffed

Many dog butts--I celebrate

By kissing your face.

04.

I sound the alarm!

Garbage man--come to kill us all--

Look! Look! Look! Look! Look!

05.

I lift my leg and

Whiz on each bush. Hello, Spot --

Sniff this and weep.

06.

My human is home!

I am so ecstatic I have

Made a puddle.

07.

Sleeping here, my chin

On your foot--no greater bliss--

Well, maybe catching rats.

08.

Look in my eyes and

Deny it. No human could

Love you as I do.

09.

The cat is not all

Bad--she fills the litter box

With Tootsie Rolls.

10.

I am your best friend,

Now, always, and especially

When you are eating.

11.

My owners' mood is

Romantic--I lie near their feet.

I fart a big one.

Exnavydiver, Sounds a lot like my Montana, yes my Montana is part Beagle/Lab. What a combination, we rescued him in a Wally World parking lot. We now wish we had gotten one of his bothers. However since he has grown from about 7 lbs to over 60 (8 months old) we made the correct decision.

When we were full timing we often wondered why Rver's had large dogs and said we would never do that. Oh well times do change, we Love our Montana very much. He is special. Thanks... GBY....

Perfect.
I believe our dogs (past and present) wrote that.
