To slide or not to slide

Hello,

Well as some of you might have read in "Around the Campfire", I'm waiting for Tropical Storm Henri to make up his mind and come ashore and get this over with.

Since the worse leaks I have are in the Kitchen and Bedroom slide and my slides move in first, the bedroom, then the kitchen, and last the sofa, would it be no big deal to move in the kitchen and bedroom slides for the night while leaving the sofa slide open so I can at least move around somewhat.

The carpet is wet, as the plastic is not sticking anymore and it's much too slick to get up on the roof at this point.

Duct tape is not going to stick to wet sides anyway. If we get the rain predicted for this evening I'm affraid the carpet is going to get even wetter. The mushrooms are back. All in all it's looking pretty ugly in here and I would like to prevent any more water damange if I can.

I know Keystone does not recommend having slides partially open but I have to consider what's worse.

I'm thinking of closing the bedroom slide completely and maybe just closing the kitchen slide enough to leave room to access the fridge (until I go to bed) and leaving the sofa slide open.

Can you see any real problems with this plan?
