Roof material on 2003 Montana
I am considering redoing the roof on our Montana with the Camping World Dicor Products EPDM Rubber Roofing Coating System.
My question is - do we have an EPDM roof on the Montana?
does anyone have experience with this product?
how well does it work?
Thanks a lot for your input.

EPDM material has been used for many years. Some manufacturers are going to TPO material now.

Pull a inside trim piece off of a vent and see what the material looks like on its backside. You may also be able to see this if you have a front ac by removing the air return flap. Edpm and tpo are different on backside. Someone with a good memory will chime in. Edpm back on backside, tpo not? Mine is not black...yours probably would be edpm. John

Several years ago I used a similar product. It was called Liquid Roof or liquid EPDM. It was a two part system. The liquid and a catalyst is added. It was rolled on with a paint roller. It looked great at first but it attracted bugs from miles around. Had to let it set up and then rub the roof down to remove bugs leaving parts embedded in EPDM. Living in the south we have a lot of bugs. Suggest a bug free environment or best you can find.

First why are you redoing your roof? If for no other reason than cosmetic leave it alone. You do not show the year and model of your rig? So it's hard to know just what you need.

Concur. Besides, I believe the roof has a 12 year warranty.

I used Liquid Roof on an older Aljo 5ver when it 14 years old........not that bad of a job to put on and sealed everything up besides looking good. When I traded up on a newer 5ver....the dealer thought it was a brand new roof. I never had a bug problem.

FLEX ARMOR...……………….best out there, and only way to go. Life time as long as you own it and there is more than one Location. Best for your money and you will never have to get on your roof again unless you want to.
