Water pump

2011 Montana 3400Rl Fresh water pump works, but runs continuously. Worked perfectly until today, normally would shut off when faucet was turned off. HELP

Check tank fill valve in the convenience center. May have been switched.Don't ask how i know!

The diaphragm may be perforated, the only other reason would be it's not getting water, or there's an open line somewhere. A water heater that hasn't been purged of air or something like that. If the tank has water in it and the pump is working your issue will surely show up eventually.

High pressure adjustment on the pump set too low.

If you pull the plastic wall off in the passthrough, you will see the pump and all the other fittings, lines, etc on the back side of the convenience center. Should be easy to see any issue. A pump that doesn't shut off means that it can't pressurize the water line coming out of the pump. Could be the pump output fitting isn't secure as should be, the pump has decided to bite it...could be that the water level in the fresh water tank is lower than the pickup so that you are now sucking air into the pump. I would add water to the tank first, then pull the plastic wall if need be. John

Since the fill valve switch is in the correct position it probably is as John posted about low level of water in fresh tank. Those two situations are the only times our pump will run continuously. Otherwise you have a loose fitting or blown line putting water out and not allowing system to pressurize.
