Changing the kitchen floor and pulling up carpet..

Anyone do that? I have a 2000 Montana I just bought and someone added a thin layer of flooring. It has some slight gaps in it now and I heard you always glue flooring on since it's a flex problem with an RV. Anyone pull the carpet and do any re-flooring on their toy? Carpet is in really good shape but not sure if you can use it again once you pull it up. I've heard it isn't stretched like homes.

Thanks.. Gary

Gary, check with exnavydiver. He replaced the galley flooring and removed and replaced some carpeting with linoleum.

My neighbor here in the park pulled out all the carpet and tried to install laminate in his Big Sky. The laminate was to thick and the kitchen/entertainment slide would not clear and it bunched it all up. He ended up going with stick on tiles as he didn't want linoleoum. It looks real nice and they are happy with the outcome.
