Water dripping under sink

While camping this weekend, I noticed some water dripping in the basement. I traced it from a cold water line up under the bathroom sink. There is a line (not going to either faucet) that comes from the basement, t's and goes back to the basement. Above the T, is what looks like a small vent cap (similar to the ones on the roof). That is where the water is coming from. Not alot of water, just enough to be annoying. No where that I could see to tighten anything. Any ideas??

I had a vacuum break on my black tank flush line that began leaking. I called the number on my black tank flush kit information that came with all my other paperwork and they sent me a new one at no charge. I was still under my one year warranty. If your trailer is equipped with the tank flush this may be the problem.

Steve, I think Rick nailed it. Our 2003 Montana had the vacuum break on the black tank flush in the position you noted. Others here have had those leak. Some got a new vacuum break and put on it. Others just replaced it with more tubing to complete the circuit. I don't know if that's an ok thing to do or not since I'm not real sure what the purpose is.

Some have had a serious flow of clean water into the bedroom area when that v.b.goes bad so don't let it go too long before you do something about it. Or hold off using the black tank flush until it's fixed.

On our current Montana, in case anyone wonders, this v.b. is behind the shower and is accessible from the access plate in the middle section of the kitchen pantry. That's on the '07 3400RL. On the one I recently saw, the hole behind the access plate is too short to make the v.b. visible but there's plenty of room to enlarge the hole and still be able to cover it with the same access plate.

Thanks for the info. I'll hold off using the flush until I get it fixed. That's what I like about this board. Seems like somebody has already been where I'm at and can help me with the problems I have. Great place to hang around. Thanks to all and Keep Kampin'.
