Remote Control

Replaced battery in hand held remote, blue light works. Nothing happens when I try to use it. No info in owners manual. 2010 3400RL. Does anyone know where the base unit is located on the 5th wheel? Or any suggestion's. Thank-you

The receiver on ours is in the front compartment on the wall. That said they frequently fail and we found the remote of little value to us so we just stuck it in a drawer and forgot about it. I don't believe Keystone puts them on the new rigs.

Looking in the front compartment, it's on the wall to the right. There's a little button on it that will sync your remote if that's what needs to be done. I've replaced the battery twice in ours without having to do this though.

If yours is like mine...front compartment...left of hydraulic pump...that approx 6x6" bit of molded electronics with lots of 15amp fuses hanging in the air around it. Button in lower right under label, never have touched it though. John
