Slideout Issue

Hello all! I've done a quick search and don't see many people having problems with slideouts. I took my 3600re, 2006 out for a trip last month and had major issues with three of four slideouts. It seems as though the following gear on each slideout was frozen, causing only one side of the slideout to move out (the side with the hydraulic cylinder)!! I was alone so wasn't able to troubleshoot with much success but it looks as though a hydraulic ram pushes one side out and the other side follows along by way of a geared shaft. The opposite side of each wasn't moving. The only slideout that worked was the bedroom which isn't exposed to the elements. Has anyone ever seen something like this!? I'm relatively certain I know the cause. I did a cross country winter trip to Colorado in February and when I got back to MD I laid up the camper without washing off the underside of the camper. I think the corrosion caused by the salt is causing my issues. Anyway, I have an appointment to take the camper in to get repaired when I get off the rig but I just wanted to see if anyone has seen this issue before so I know what to expect after I drop off the camper at the repair shop...Thanks much for any insight.

Jimmy

Check the bolts in the shaft that connects the two gears, one has probably sheared. replace with a grade 8 bolt.

The bolts connecting the shaft of the two gears are intact in all slideouts.

I have found it necessary to liberally spray the underside regularly.
