Nice. My Dad restored a 31 Coupe back in the late 70s. How long did it take you to restore yours?

I love it. My favorite is the 29-32 era Ford Phaeton. Would love to have one but no place to store it.

There used to be a model A club (I guess) that on every Saturday morning there would be any where from 15 to 20 model A's come by on the farm to market road. All in pristine condition. With that many of them you could hear then coming a mile away. Have not seen them in several years though. Don't know if they disbanded or are going some where with less traffic as this area has grown a lot since then.

Thanks for posting this Tom. I guess I'm never going to learn to post pictures. And thanks everyone for the nice compliments. Dave the restoration was pretty much complete when we bought it. The owner had it restored, frame up, but then got real sick and was unable to even try to drive it the last year so the little piddle diddle things were never finished so the main part of my time restoring was writing the check. Now all the little things are done and its ready for some fun and parades. Scott, it does well, going down hill--go figure. Plus lil' Susie does not like the hitch in the rumble seat, and you can see who's boss there. She just can't figure why there isn't a cigarette lighter to plug her DVD player in. When you all come to Florida, stop by and we'll go for a ride. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

Okay, got a question. Wonder if there's any place I can buy 6 volt Christmas lights for the Model A for the Christmas parade??? Anybody got any ideas??? Haden't told you. When we went to look at the Model A, while looking at it and after driving it, another person drove in to look at it. I got sorta concerned, and watched him pretty close, then told Susie, I hope he don't make an offer. she said don't worry about it, if we're supposed to have it, everything will work out, plus I just handed her a check for it--lol Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

I would just temporarily place a 12 volt battery down by my feet and connect lights. After parade, take it out.

You can also use a transformer to step up the 6 volts to 12 volts.

There are also a variety of battery powered LED light strings available now.

If any of you are in the neighbor hood of Floral City, we will be there most of the day Saturday for Heritage Days with the new car. Its a fun day with lots of activities and displays. If you come out look us up, would love to meet some more MOC'ers. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

Have been having a blast with the Model A. The Parades are a lot of fun and everyone seems to really flock around the car. Seems I'm always getting finger prints off it. Oh well, am glad people enjoy seeing it, we enjoy driving it and showing it every chance we get. Hope everyone has a wonderful 2015 and give us a shout if you see us in a parade someplace.

It seems to me I remember reading that Ford and/or third party suppliers still make every part available for both the Model A and it's earlier brother, the Model T. Talk about longevity!
