Sliding Glass shower door handles

On a bumpy ride on the Interstate, I found, when we stopped, the handles on the shower glass sliding doors had both fallen off. They appeared to have been glued on. I wonder what glue I should use to reattach??

Guess I would try either gorilla glue (first) and heavy duty industrial double sided tape (second). With the gorilla glue (not the super glue), you would probably have to lay the shower door down on the floor so the handles/glue will set up properly.

X2 on Gorilla glue. I have recently used it for some non-wood application and it did great. Just use it very sparingly.

How about the glue used to hold rear view mirrors to windshields? Would not work if the glass doesn't have a smooth surface.

Our handles are held on by a thin sheet of "rubbery material", but that is failing. I'm going to try to get more at the factory when we go to the Rally this fall.

JB Weld. My handles are not going anywhere. When everything else fails use JB Weld.

X2 on the JB Weld, though you might need to gently c-clamp or tape the handle in place while it sets up. When it's hard, it's extremely durable.

This or something similar is probably what's under there: http://www.amazon.com/CS-Hyde-Confor...m+vhb+adhesive

I've used both and would probably go with either the JB Weld or Gorilla Glue. Sometimes the 3M stuff works and other times you have to do it over and over until it finally stays.
