The black water flush gets it's pressure and volume from the RV Park's water supply,
If the check valve fails, it has the potential to suck black water into the supply of the RV park. That is what an anti-siphon valve is for, any suction is negated by an opening of a 'flapper' sucking air, instead of siphoning any black water in the lines.
I just wouldn't do it. JMHO.

Oz, you brought up an excellent point for the anti-syphin, ty. Here is an added note to the Camco Tornado Flush Sprayer. It also has a vacuum-breaker that screws to the Tornado sprayer which takes the place of the anti-syphin in the wall. I found it at Walmart.com for $21 plus tax and shipping. It is the full kit that you find at the RV centers for $44 +/-. Ordered it Monday, arrived Friday. Thanks again for the tip Oz.

I did replace the broken anti-syphon valve with a 90 deg elbow but after several weeks my local dealer did succeed in getting a proper replacement valve. I have removed the elbow and installed the proper valve so I am confident that I would not contaminate a park supply while flushing.
