Electric 6 Point Leveling System

I have a friend with a SOB that has this automatic leveling system and wants to raise the front legs about 2" to give him more ground clearance when towing. Is it possible to do this?

Do they pull the pins and push them all the way up? Fully retracted there should be no issues towing.

My brackets have several hole positions to raise or lower. I had to raise my rears to clear initial incline in driveway. I just use a larger block on the rears.

If he has tools and time, he can move them up. You need a torque wrench obviously to complete the job. And...if he can see space above the landing gear rams with slack in the hydraulic hoses, it is doable. I have never had mine drag the ground...

Two Montana's and over 75,000 miles some over back roads on Wildlife refuges and have never had a jack drag.

We have had a couple of instances where front levelers did drag on inclines, but not to the extent where it was necessary to change settings.

If there is clearance above he should be able to. He may want o ask the question on the SOB's forum.

I am asking about the ELECTRIC system not the hydraulic. I have raised the front ones on my hydraulic system and am familiar with it.

The front legs on the electric system are square and mount just like the old style without auto feature. All 6 of my friends are VERY low.

You can raise the electric stile jacks to not hard to do at all. But before I did that do they pull the pine's and puss the legs up all the way before the tow it? Or does the TV set to low when the 5er is hooked to it? Or is it over loaded?

The pins are pulled and the legs pushed up as far as they will go. Ram dually truck and is PLENTY of truck for fiver and these people have full timed for years and have been around the block many times. Let me add that the truck has air bags and sits level.
