Construction question

I have a question about closet shelving. The top full length shelf in the camper has come lose on one end. For the life of me I can’t figure out how it’s attached or how to fix it. Any help is appreciated.

you may want to share your year and model. You get better answers that way.

Oh and welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum. A picture would help if you could post one also.

Welcome to the forum. Like Dick states a picture would help plus the model of your 5th wheel.

More than likely it’s shot in with those magic brads that the factory installs almost everything with. But yes, more info would be helpful.

We just had a similar issue with ours. It was installed with the useless brads they use everywhere. I made a support for ours by using 1/2” MDF bird that we glued to the wall and made a 6-7” wide piece that went to the next shelf below it (assuming yours has shelves below).

in our 3720RL we stapled it back in then in the center added a rod from the floor to bottom of the closet pole for more support then a short piece from closed pole to self. after our first trip we did this modification and have had no issues since also much stronger.

I had a similar issue with ours. It was installed with the two screws on each end into the paneling. There is no backer board behind the wall. I made a support for ours by using 1/2” by 3" MDF board that I glued to the wall. It extends from bottom of the shelf to the shelf below it.
