Brighter LED Lighting
I tried the regular replacement lights from StarBright (Purchased at a Montana dealer in Idaho) but was never happy with the light they gave off. After about 4 months it seemed like it was getting dimmer, so i opened the fixture to find it slightly melted and blacked because of heat. I sure as heck trashed it.
I still wanted better light, so after searching for lights i found and came up with this fix
The lights are from LumiBright White 776-0023, 12 volt .06watt and can be bought it any length, but were only 12.5 volt max which means voltage float would sure blow them.
I tested the lowest voltage they would work on and found i could use a dropping resistor for safety.
In the pictures i used 6 of the modules on each side of a standard light fixture, both sides running throught a 10 ohm 1/4 watt resistor and have been running them for over a year now to test them.
Results are, they work supper great, much more light for reading, give off no heat and have changed out some of the other fixtures. i got them from a lighting place in Atanta, but they are available at any good lighting store around the country. So if you want more light, give this addition a try.

Good job Randy, that must have taken a lot of research. We too tried some LED's and were disappointed with them. Since then we have been using lights from members Michael and Kat http://filamentfree.com/shop/article_W%252015S/Wedge-Ultra-Bright-15-LED-(912_921).html?sessid=Y4XQxqj5WpJIaIDWs15ZTqwn6Cb4 1E46sv9ZuL1aLwcJ3SsSnMbmNxINZSqRcNeE&shop_param=ci d%3D1%26aid%3DW%252015S%26
They are bright, the color is pleasing and they are good for 10-30 volts.

X probably 99 on the bulbs available from Michael&Kat. I've bought a bunch from different sellers in the past and only buy from Micheal&Kat unless I need something they don't carry.

X whatever on Michael & Kats lights. They are great. As said above, the hardest part is taking out the old and installing the LED's

Getting ready to order more from Mike. My wife really likes the light they give. Notice he now has a wedge ulta bright 15led for the 912/921 which are a few dollars less - has anyone tried them??
Thanks Joe in TX

Yes I used the 15 LED for the closet and over the bathroom sink and used the other one for the ceiling lights.
