Replacement furniture.

I have a 2015 3582RL Montana. I HATE the furniture (theater seats and the sofa). We have looked at loads of furniture stores and just can't find the correct size to fit into the rig. We can come close with the theater seating but not the sofa. We don't care about having the hide a bed in the sofa. Also I want power reclining on the theater seating.

I have read that the RV furniture manufacturers attend He national rally but I just can't make it there.

So to the question. Where can I find the contact to buy new furniture and is there a way to see it before I buy?

Most if not all furniture stores do not carry RV size furniture (sofa, recliners) Fortunately we can go to the fall rally and there are many RV vendors there. You can order through a RV dealer but you will not be able to see it before purchase. Camping world usually has some on display.

Have you tried Lazy Boy? We purchased their Pinnacle recliners (2) with REAL leather from them and after almost 6 years still look new and fit was perfect for us. I'm betting they will have a sofa in the size you need too.

Fairly sure they would have a recliner. The sofa is 71 inches long and 33 deep with no room to spare. We are going to check them out.

Yes the sofa is the BIG problem. We can find the theater seating (don't want 2 recliners) but can't find a sofa that matches. We have been to several Lazy Boys and they do have the theater seating that is close enough to work but no matching sofa

Lazy Boy does have a sofa and recliner that will fit. We do not want theater seating. The problem is now how to get the stuff that is in the TV out and the new stuff in when/if we purchase. The Montana door is 28 inches wide. We will check that out tomorrow.

We had to replace the furniture in our Big Sky this winter. The leather was peeling and cracking.
We bought a 80" sofa, a 57" love seat and an ottoman and really like the furniture. The furniture will fit through a 15" opening which comes in boxes and you put together, frame is a life time guarantee and so are the cushions. If the cushions fail they will send you new ones. I wanted a sofa that was long enough for my husband to nap on comfortably and that it would fit in the slide where our big window is. Here is the link:

Rich, check your door and you may find it is 30"....mine is. There should be a factory label on it. Most of the furniture will partially come apart to get it out. We had no door issues when we replaced our factory recliners with Lazy Boys.

The "leather" was peeling and cracking because it is manufactured leather instead of natural leather. Another misleading term.

The opening is 30 " but there is a lip around it and that is 28"

The back comes off the recliner so that will not be a problem. Good to hear you have no problem. This is why we love this forum

If you think the fake leather (pleather) you have is a problem let me tell you about my last 5er. it was a Carriage Domani. It had a 12 foot sofa with wraparound ends in the slider and opposite was a 8 ft sofa wrap around and also two ottomans. All covered with disintegrating pleather.

Recovering would have been in the thousands. We sold it.

I just bought 2 euro chairs from the Lippert Thomas Payne collection. We had a 54 inche space for 2 chairs. The chairs are 27 inches wide, perfect. They are comfortable and cheap. They are cheap vinyl but all I could find that would fit.

This is way have them remove the "leather" sofa and recliners when we purchased our 13402 Big Sky and replace it with cloth. Except for the fact that they are uncomfortable we would not be replacing them now.

I bought 2 recliners for my previous Montana at a local small furniture store. I think these and maybe one other set would fit and were comfortable. The store is in Mesa near the Apache Jct border if you come to AZ in the winter.

Simplicty sofas is an awesome co. They worked with us after our fire gave us a great deal and quick shipping. Love the sofa.
