Beeping from front battery area.

I have a 2018 3731FL at home and my 50 amp service line has been disconnected for a month now.
So today I decide to look into my RV connect plug that plugs into the bed of the truck. The female 7 pin connector is from factory on new 2017 DRW.It seems not to be a good tight fit and power blinks on and off when traveling.
So I backed truck up and shut truck off and inserted rv male plug.I noted it is somewhat smaller in circumference then the female truck plug.
So to see if that’s the problem I wrapped some tape around the rv plug to tighten it up.
I plug in and was tight.Unlplug and notice a intermittent beep coming from the battery area in the front of the rv.Its beeping every 7 ..8 seconds now for a good hour and continuing.Battery is at 12:71 volts.
New to this rv venture so checked all and can’t find any issues.Thought maybe propane sensor? No it’s fine.
Beep only from front area where battery is.
If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

Well I found out what was beeping. The auto level system apparently came on and was beeping? Why it came on by itself I don’t understand because it has been parked at home here for a month.
All I can figure is when I plugged in to the tow vehicle it alerts the computer and it turns on to ready itself for loading?

Might be a new software feature, but I would check with lippert for an informed answer.

As for the cord not being a tight fit, none of mine have ever been. On the inside of the spring loaded door on the truck plug is a lip. Once the plug is inserted the door will come down and that lip must be over the raised part of the trailer plug. That is what holds the plug in place. Probably not the best job explaining it but it should give you an idea what to look for.

Our auto level does not beep. It automatically shuts off if you don’t hit the off button.

Beeping caused by low voltage condition, based on my experience with a battery that shorted out under load.

Turned it on over 1/2 hour ago. On this 13 3402 it does beep for awhile, don't know how long, then turns itself off. Learn something every day.

I have been using a Velcro cable tie to help keep everything connected. I have it secured around the cable from the trailer and wrap it around the cover once connected. It insures the cover stays tight in the cable and the tab keeps the plug in the socket.
