Glenn and Lorraine and Emmel....

are currently in the Rocky Mountains. believe it or not our CG has no cable TV, in fact no TV signal at all. It also doesn't even have Wifi. But most importantly it has absolutely no cell phone signals. NONE, ZERO, NADA and so we will be offline a lot more than online. Right now I am sitting in a parking lot in Grand Lake, CO. So for the next couple days when we do get on first comes personal business. For me it will than be the MOC business with the Fall rally taking priority. If time allows I will take care of other MOC business such as updating and posting to the rigs pages.

Thank you for understanding.

Beautiful country. I hope you get to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park since you're right next to it. Gorgeous drive on up US34/Trail Ridge Road to Estes Park. When you get up to the Summit there's a short hike (1/2 mile one way, if I recall) to a point with absolutely gorgeous views in all directions.

And the last time we were by Grand Lake, this is what we saw (same day as above pictures)...

That turned out to be a snowstorm, by the way.

Enjoy. Colorado is such a beautiful state.

Jan, Check your PM

Steve you bet we did RMNP BUT at this hi elevation I didn't do a lot of up hill hiking. We were able to walk around Bear Lake.
I highly recommend RMNP and Estes Park as well as Grand Lake.

Glen and Steve you are in our part of the country.
We live about 100 miles or less from Rocky Mountain National park.

Hard to get cell phone coverage in the mountains.

Have a safe trip.

Great pictures Steve!!

If you look closely at the path in that first picture you can see it's covered with sleet. While hiking to the top I got into a little sleet. It stopped so I could take pictures. On the way down it started with a vengeance and my backside was solid ice by the time I reached the truck. This was in early October 2003.

Those storms can come on quickly in the mountains.

Well we finally reached a CG where we have not only a Verizon signal but WiFi as well but still no TV, well 1 channel and that's PBS. And the signals, both Verizon and WiFi leave a lot to be desired.

We are in Rawlins, Wyo and will be pulling out this AM for Ogden Utah for a couple three nights.

I will try to get some photos posted but without a signal or a weak one at best uploading photos takes awhile. Hopefully Ogden will have a better signal or a better WiFi.
