You will be in good hands at H. Lee Moffitt at U of S. Tampa. My brother was treated there, and the staff were really great. Good luck to you, and we look forward to your posts telling us all is well.

UPDATE: Surgery is behind us. Was completed here at Moffitt on July 2 early AM. All went well and the surgeon feels he got all the tumor and no radiation will be needed, We are still waiting on pathology reports. I have the staples removed tomorrow and hopefully will know more after final labs are done and see the surgeon for my staple removal. Want to thank all of you for your continued prayers and support. Many of you were keeping track of my progress via the Moffitt Care Pages which I set up before surgery and my daughter and Tom kept updating as things progressed. We did not realize how many great friends we had until this trial came up in our lives. We hope to make it to the fall rally in Elkhart. Will try to get back to more active status here before the end of summer. Keep those prayers coming. This is going to be a long difficult recovery. Joyce

So good to hear from you, Joyce. Steve is on the Care List thing for both of us, but I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how glad we are that you are on the mend and to see you on the forum again.

As Sue said, do what your doctor tells you and get better. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers ...

Wow Joyce, this is the first I have read this thread. I'm so sorry I missed it.

Very happy to read you're through the worst of it and on the mend. I will now add you to my prayer list for a continued speedy and good recovery.

Do hope to see you at the Fall Rally.

Take care,
Patty
