Well we did it
We just ordered our Montana. We are getting a 2955 with everything except the 10 cu.ft. fridge, 2nd a/c. or the genset. We set a price and had a second price from another dealer. they wanted more so when we went to leave they gave us our price. Now about 8 weeks of waiting. Thanks to everyone for the all info.

Congratulations on your purchase. You will be pulling it behind your TV before you know it. We can't wait to get out in ours for the first time this year.

Excellent choice! We had a 2955RL for four years and enjoyed it immensely! Sounds like you got it equipped right. We had one AC and it performed well in summer heat. Not sure I've ever even seen the 10cf fridge.
Enjoy

Let us join our friend "Mac" in congratulations from a fellow 2955 owner. Ours will be five years old in May and will have nearly 50,000 miles in use and we are still happy with it. We just returned from a trip to the Rio Grande Valley (or as we say here in Texas "THE Valley"). After I gave it a good washing from top to bottom it looks very much like new.
We hope you will enjoy your Montana as much as we have and as we continue to do.

and an excellant choice from yet another 2955 owner. We full timed in ours for over 3 years and loved every minute in it. It was our first Monty but far from our last as we just recently traded it on a new Monty the 3485.

Congratulations on your purchase --
We will be picking up our 2007 2955RL from the dealer on 4/14/07 -- 7 weeks, but who is counting .. we can't wait.
We chose the Venetian Gold Interior and have ordered Slide Toppers and they threw in the dirt devil.
I was at the dealer about 3 weeks ago and had a Husky 25K hitch put on our Tow Vehicle (2007 Ford F-350 DRW Super Cab) -- they also included the hitch as part of our deal.
We bought our Montana back in September and have left it in winter storage --
We looked at several models (Jayco, Cedar Creek, NUWA, Keystone Laredo) before deciding on the 2955RL --
We also went to the RV Show in Tampa while there back in January and after looking around, we absolutley knew we made the right decision.

We have had our 2955 for 2 1/2 years now. We like our model and like some of the things our 2005 has in it that they have taken out of it now, so we will keep it. We have still only had weekends but we make the best of them and looking forward to the day we can travel across the country. Enjoy your new Montana!
