Its Finally Coming Together

We have been looking at 5th wheels for the last year and a half. I have been useing my 22 foot class C for trips and living in over the summer while working out of state. We finally bought a 3400rl at the Pomona RV Show and it is in. We pick it up on the 8th. Found the truck last week, a F350 set up just the way we wanted it. I guess it all works out in the end. Looking forward to becoming full timers this spring. Now all we have to do is sell the house and 30 odd years of accumilation and put a few things in storage and were ready to go.

Hello jretz,

Welcome to the MOC. Great place to learn all about your new 3400. They have a very nice layout. Your F350 should pull that unit just perfect.
Enjoy.

Welcome. We are doing the same thing trying to downsize. We also have the 3400 and love it. We hope to be full timing with the next year (have to sell house first).
Happy trails..................

Congrates the time will fly by now and believe me we just went through 25 years of stuff and it will be a challenge. Just remember, "to simplify" is the way to so much more freedom! It will be worth the time guaranteed. You will have good days and bad days during the transition just make sure you turn to us at the forum for those encouraging words that you may need during the next 6 months. The day you drive away is something you will never forget!

Jim as the others have said, welcome to MOC and congratulations. You're going to love your new Montana and your truck. Best wishes on the sale of your home. Full timing is what I'd like to be doing.
