black tank sprayer

A few days ago I hooked up the sprayer after draining the black tank. I let it run about 3-4 minutes (drain closed) and then drained again. Almost nothing came out. I turned it on again, and it sounded like the sprayer was barely putting out water.
I let that go and then today I used it again. No sound at all from the sprayer. I let it run for 5 minutes, and nothing came out.

Has anyone else had the sprayer plug up or just quit?

Thanks.

There have been several post on this recently. The sympthoms suggest it is plugged up but the main culprit is the check valve. I believe on your model it is located under the lavratory basin. Jim

Our sprayer got plugged up last year so I removed it and cleaned all the small holes in it and for now it is working fine. I think the problem was letting the tank get to full and having the spray head just sit in the waste causing it to plug up. So now I don't let it fill all the way before I drain it.

We always turn on the black tank sprayer prior to flushing the black tank. We fill the black tank with the black tank flush (sprayer) and then open the valve to empty the tank. So far so good. No problems with the sprayer getting clogged.
