Moutaineer Trailer 325FKBS

Please advise where the low point drain is situated for the plumbing. I have found the water tank drain but cannot find the other drain. On my previous trailer, a Sunline, the two drain points were side by side. I want to drain out the pink stuff, factory fitted, and santitise my tanks. Also, do I need to remove the wood wall to open the taps to the water heater? Your help would be appreciated. This is my first Mountaineer and only my 2nd RV in our first year so still a newbie in many ways.

Welcome ttsr4us to the MOC Family.
I didn't have an answer over on RV.net and I still don't but I am sure someone will be in here very shortly to assist you. In the maen time make yourself to home and peruse the many posts. Use the "Search" feature searching "Mountaineer". You may find other bits of information on your new 325FKBS.

We have a 2000 305FKS (similar floorplan but a few years earlier). My low point drains (hot & cold) are side by side within arm's reach from the L/H ("driver's side") front about a foot in from the left side.

Don't know what you mean about the "taps" but there is a water heater by-pass valve in the line just before the water heater. Mine you open the cabinet under the sink and look to the right. It's a plastic shutoff valve in the line which allows you to put the pink stuff in your lines without filling the water heater tank (just drain it by removing the anode rod).

Our Mountaineer 297RKS has (3) freshwater discharge valves. They are all opaque plastic 3/8" or 1/2" (?) lines with white valve caps. Two are found together on the curb side, underneath, just ahead of the door. The other is a single on the street side, a couple of feet behind the axles. All are within a foot or two of the sides of the trailer.

On the 335RLBS TT the low point drains are on the curbside between the kitchen and bathroom. I did not notice these on mine for several months.

Thanks all. I was inspecting the trailer with a foot of snow on the ground and did not want to crawl around in it!

We have the same rig and the low point drains are between the axles on the slide side. Hope this helps. I have seen your posts on the other site and thought you may show up here. Welcome aboard!
