Furnace inoperative

The fan for my furnace runs but it won't ignite. I have propane. I am not sure how to troubleshoot this.

There has been many furnace issues recently. Anything from water intrusion to wasp nests have been found. A Search will give you an idea of what can occurs.

Additionally, there is a generic furnace problem diagnosis guide located in the File section HERE.

First thing to do is light your burners on the stove and make sure you don't have air in the lines or that propane bottles aren't releasing propane (opened too fast.)

Ya sometimes it takes a long time for the gas to get to the stove. Not sure where it goes but stove doesn't light right away. Once I do then the furnace it ready to go. I also do this before I light off the fridge. Also when you run out of gas open the new bottle then switch the gas to the new bottle then close the old bottle. My fuenace wouldn't light and this method fixed the problem.

First light all burners on the stove. Then try the furnace. If the flames go down to a real low flame, it is your regulator, you need to change it. Why don't you leave both bottles on and let the auto matic valve change it over.?
