5th Ice machine Tango Uniform...
This one is a Igloo can't get rid of plastic smell. dumped 6 buckets of ice, had cleaned it three times.
BUT, the shut-off device does not, just keeps making ice until it jams up and makes creepy noises. Guess it heard about the other ice machines.
My new plan: Take it back, get my $$ back and install a residential ice maker in the Monte reefer. We have a chest freezer, so plenty of room for stuff there.
Oh how I envy all of you folks that buy something and it just.. works. sniff sniff...

Ozz,
I think these ice escapades are actually a subliminal message that you, unfortunately are electing not to receive. The message seems to be saying that you need to revise your drink menu away from iced drinks and adopt the hot toddy approach. There, problem solved with little or no effort on your behalf!! Just trying to be of help!!

Several years ago we bought an $1800 under-counter clear ice maker for the S&B house (DW got on a Martini kick). Worked one year then quit (the ice machine that is). Got it serviced and worked another year then quit. Finally we sold the house

I know, the 'Fancy-pants" approach to life is full of perils, I guess when we 'camp' we should drink the non-iced water and be happy campers.
A fella that tries to get too citified is sure to run into roadblocks..

Bottom line: You just aren't intended to drink adult beverages.
