Time to Make Reservations for Gettysburg
Hi Everyone - Today I received the contract from the Gettysburg Campground and it is fine to make your reservations now. The phone number is 717-334-3304. I am putting a list of folks together and will be publishing to this forum by Sunday evening. The campground was very very busy so it's been a little longer than I had hoped, but we are confirmed and should have a great rally. The owners of the campground are great to work with and it is a very exciting year in Gettysburg...we have the official Visitors Center helping us put together some great ideas for free time in Gettysburg. We're planning plenty of time for folks to visit the area and time to share stories. The entertainment is booked and you are sure to enjoy!

Is there a group price for the rally. We had to give a 2 day deposit which we did at the regular rate. That is a impressive list thus far You could be bigger than the fall rally.You guys are doing a great job and we are looking forward to the rally. We are on Site # 65. Helen and I will be glad to help out in some way.. when a agenda is posted we will look it over and see were we can best help out.

Rick and I are going over to meet with the campground owners this weekend and will confirm the pricing details. The contract provides a 10% discount off of regular pricing if we meet certain criteria..which I know we will. At the time we negotiated, he wasn't sure if '08 would be higher per night so I don't have the exact per night cost. I will get it and post as soon as possible. Anything else anyone wants to know from the campground owners? Please drop me a line or post and I'll keep a running list and try my best to get you answers.

Silvermontana (Art & Paula Huot) will attend the NE rally in Gettysburg. I will call this week for reservations. We are looking forward to meeting old friends and new acquaintances
