Re: Black Tank Fix (check valve)
To remove the mirror, I first removed the corner clips and realised the mirror was held to the wall by some kind of glue. Using a 4" putty knife, I very carefully started working it behind the mirror at the base. As it came free, I realised it was two sided tape. I then had my wife hold the bottom of the mirror and did the same thing at the top. When removed, I discovered a small hole in the wall and I could see the valve. I the widened the hole with a jig saw, so I could hold the valve with both hands and replaced it. The tape is located about 2" up from the bottom and 2" from the top and runs horizontally. The tape was not damaged in the process and everything went back together no problem. Goes without saying, take you time removing the mirror.
