How bout a city and state on this??? I don't see it in your profile and was wondering where you were.
Any damage to your house, or even worse, to your RV???

I was wondering the same thing as Mrs. CountryGuy. I am assuming you are not one of the thousands without power?

Or he has a generator and plenty of fuel for it.
Trouble with this series of storms, is that they just keep a comin'. Today was the first day I felt comfy going outside, and believe me, we are not dealing with ANYTHING like this. Thing is, it was still a tad slippery.
But no power problems here, not like in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. My heart goes out to them, man, whewie, they took it on the chin and more! OUCHIE

Yes the house has roof damage, the insurance adjuster will be here friday. We were without power no heat and electric for two days, we opened up Montana and turned on furance, a real life safer, I guess one could say we were winter camping. I will be busy the next couple of weeks cleaning up this mess. We live in Waterville Kansas.

Was that the same town that was on national news? Lucky for me there was a window and I got out of IOWA and in TX in the valley.

Don't know where that picture is from but as soon as I get power on at the house I'll try to upload some of the pictures I've taken (typing from work right now ....)
Westar (local electric co) says 7 to 10 days for power to us and we are in the city; will be a lot sooner as I saw crews from NC, TN, AR, SC, MA and NJ here today (actually spoke to my neighbor who works for the company and said they've been here since yesterday. Over 2/3rds of this town is still without power and today with the thaw it has grown by over 3000 since Lunch time (looking at the Westar Energy web site). Lot of trees, homes, cars damaged.
You all take good care and drive safe if you have to go out in this mess.

We're just down the road in Junction City and things are a mess. We were lucky in that we were without power for about 18 hrs. Living in the Monty and it's holding up really well. JC still has a lot of down trees and folks with out power. Looks like we're one of the lucky ones.
Have a safe holiday.

Sorry to hear about your power loss and the nasty weather that you are going through. I know that when ICE hits here near Austin Texas that we are all at the mercy of mother nature.
Here is hoping that the areas that are being hit by the ice and snow are needing the moisture.
Sometimes it is great to have a home away from home with the capability of staying warm. Thanks Monty!!

Colorado sent people to Missouri and Kansas , to help get the power back on.
We have snow just about every other day!!! Very very cold here. We are 1000 feet higher than Denver. Sometimes they get more snow and sometimes we get more.
