Nashville, TN Area?

Looking for suggestions on campgrounds in the Nashville, TN area.

We are thinking about moving there and want to go check it out first for a few days and see if we really do want to make the big move to that area.

Also looking for any other information on Tennesse as a whole from those who live there!

Good recommendation Pat! We've stayed there twice now and will be back when we are in the area. Great people and sites are wide enough to enjoy while not touring Nashville!

I sent an e-mail to that park and they replied that our Montana would not fit into any of there sites. We have a 3100RL which is 35 feet long and they said their sites are only 32 feet long. Raises a question of why they would say that to us when you guys have bigger rigs than mine?

Deer Run west of Nashville in Crossville TN is very nice and is a Passport America campground. We always try to stop there when traveling through.

Hate to be picky, but Crossville is 120 miles EAST of Nashville. Looks like a nice place though.

If you're checking out Tennessee, be sure to come to Crossville and check out Fairfield Glade!!! We settled here 4 years ago after checking it out and can't be more satisfied.

Deer Run is an excellent RV park and we spent 2 summers there while researching the area. Also check out Spring Lake RV park which is newly remodeled and an excellent campground.

If you want more info or would like to chat, let me know.

Packerfan, You must have gotten a response from a new employee. Our 2007 3000RK is 35-6"and we have been there 3 times. I don't recall any problems at all. There are a lot longer units than we have staying there. I'd say there would be no problem. Bill

We stayed at Two Rivers in April this year. Nice place and nice people. Very convenient with a Montana dealer on one side and a Camping World on the other. You can walk to either of them. Walt

Depending on time of year, the COE park may be a consideration.

Well, we just made reservations at Two Rivers RV Park for 2 days. Might extend it a couple more days if we like the area. We are thinking of moving there and want to check the area out some first. Thanks everyone for the info and help.

If anyone is in the area this Thursday through Saturday stop by there and say hi. We would love to talk about the area.
