Sure Not A Montana Problem

Found the problem with my washer/dryer wiring, it sure was NOT a circuit breaker and it is NOT a Montana problem. We had our stack washer/dryer unit installed by Camping World. They did indicate that they had to move some wiring due to where the outlets were placed in the closet by Montana. Look at their Solution:
Note the fine quality workman ship. Old country to be sure.

The reason the lights dimmed when I turned off the Dryer breaker is that it is mislabeled, it is actually the breaker for the Converter. The Converter breaker is to the Dryer which has nothing attached as the idiots at Camping World have the washer AND dryer plugged into a jury rigged outlet off of the Washer breaker. I am sooo glad we haven't burned this rig to the ground.

Oh what a wonderful surprise -

I bet they didn't have enough room to plug in at the sides. I replaced the cord on the dryer to be an angled plug, and the washer already had one. Used the existing outlets.

What now?

Surely this work was done by some shop hand, no excuse, and not that of a qualified person. I would be interested to hear the results of your next conversation with them.

Steve worked at the camping world for about 3 months here in CA. If we have a problem, he'd rather work on it himself than take it in there....

At the very least, the could have used a 12-3 romex and sloppily carried both circuits over instead of one and split the duplex outlet.

We had a couple of things done at CW with our previous campers/trucks..all were disasters. We had to return FOUR times before they could get the install on airbags correct. We like Cw for hard to get items and the occasional good sales but we would not let them change a light bulb .

Looks like the quality of work of someone who was trained by one of the rv manufacturers to me. Nothing surprises me anymore. My dealer needs to replace the roof material on my bedroom slide, and it is scary just thinking about it. And just to think, I was considering buying an A/C from CW, but for the fact that the free installation ran out today. Now I'll gladly do it myself as I have all the tools, and a bucket truck I can use to set the unit on top with.

I bought the 5th airborne pin box, washer/dryer, and roof satellite antenna at the same time from CW in Denver, with installation.

After watching the techs beat my hitch into place with a sledge hammer, I went in and got a refund for the installation on the rest of it. I can do that bad myself.

Maybe someone from CW should be monitering our forum to see what customers think about their services. When you can see pictures like shown here, it says a lot!!!
Must say I have purchased a lot of products from CW, including our w/d, but we have never used their installers.

I just went back and looked closer at the pictures. Did they really plug a grounded plug into a two prong adapter? Why else would the black plug turn into grey at the recepticle?
