My Dodge Ram Let Me Down

Last week we were driving to Duluth, MN and numerous warning lights started coming on then going off, then on again. Most of them were brake warning, malfunction indicator, ABS, etc. So we pulled over on I-35 and the truck would not start. Called Dodge Roadside and they would only tow me to this dealership that could get to me in two weeks and I would have to pay for the fifth wheel to be towed. Then I called Coach-Net and they towed us 70 mi to our campground , then dropped the truck off to Duluth Dodge. The dealer said it was a loose wire and it cleared all of the faults. We drove it around and everything seemed ok, started out again two days ago, got 30 miles and the warning lights started going off again like a slot machine, truck is back in Duluth again and they are checking with Chrysler on a fix. Hopefully they can get this fixed soon, got lots of places to go to. Sorry for long post, just want to see if anyone else has had similar problems and let everyone know that having CoachNet is well worth the cost.

I am so sorry to hear about your TV problems. I hope things get better for you. I am also happy to see that your rig was towed to an acceptable RV Park. Maybe they can figure out your TV problems, fix it and then you can get on with your scheduled plans.

Glad to hear Coach Net came thru for you. We lost brakes and steering when our truck was new and it was some kind of small transfer tube since the brakes and steering use the same fluid.

Update: Chrysler is now saying that my truck troubles are due to wiring problems in my camper, not sure how the camper wiring could lead to warning lights coming on in my truck. More to follow.

2 yr old truck and all of sudden trailer wiring is causing the problem Talk about passing the buck. Hopefully you will get some satisfaction from Fiat/Chrysler Look at the bright side weather is great in Duluth.

We ended up trading it for a 2015 Ram Laramie 3500 DRW in Billings MT. The final straw was when we were driving down the road near Billings and lost all electronics in the truck, all the warnings lights were goin off constantly that it sounded like a slot machine. Too make a long story short, we got a fair price for trade in, it's just too bad that someone needs to get a new vehicle after two years and 40,000 mi. We sent a long letter to Chrysler however, have not been received any thing back yet. (Why am I not surprised).

Sorry to hear about that but hopefully the new truck will provide you with a lot more peace of mind.
