Overheating radiator

Reading some of the stories on here brought back memories. Few years ago on a trip to Arizona upon leaving Pheonix and heading north to Flagstaff the motor home kept overheating and bubbling out the antifreeze and water. Finally gave up for the night and pulled into a campground. An older Gentleman was in the lot across from us and we got to chatting over a beer. While telling him of my overheating problem, he had sort of a smirky grin on his face. When I finished he said, well, I never tried to work on one of these things, but in your case I'll try to make an exception. Walked around me and knelt in front of the motor home, reached in and took a Burger King wrapper off of the radiator, and said sometimes this helps. I felt really stupid and we had a great laugh. Sometimes the most obvious ends up the least obvious. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie

Just like a hot dog wrapper at a NASCAR race.
