it is 2.35 here in Syracuse, and it SUCKS. I hope this goes down by the summer, or else my trips are going to cost a lot more.

I found it for 1.77.9 on I-35 around Holt, MO, on Dec. 7th. It was the winterized blend also.

1.92 here in Luling, LA at WalMart. Use their gift card and get another .03 off. The price has dropped twice in a week.

We are finally back down under the 2.25 here in Albuquerque. Out off Tramway and I-25, Indian Casino station it is 1.83, up here by us 1.89 - seems there for a while it was running the same as prem gas. Thank goodness for being stuck in our stick home and using the SUV instead of the truck .

Safe travels and Merry Christmas!

Our 2 closest Flying Js
Dade City I-75 Exit 285 & SR52 1.939

Seffner I-4 & SR 579 Exit 10 2.059
Seffner is the Flying J that is just a few miles from the state fairgrounds where they will be holding the Tampa RV Supershow.
This Flying J is also part of the Lazy Days RV, Camping World and Rally Park complex. This whole complex is like an RV show in itself. I rarely go by without stopping.

And here in Largo diesel 2.099

Going down slowly BUT it is going down.

1.97 to 2.09 here in central Virginia. Have seen as low as 1.93 at Flying J near Wytheville, Va. Has dropped about .05 in last month. Heading for Florida in January. Flying J site lists 1.93 to 2.06 in Florida. I have heard much higher.

Masonsand, the Walmart station in your area has diesel? I've been passing up the Walmart stations 'cause I never saw one with diesel. I'll start watching them more closely now.

YAAHOOO!!!! We are finally under 2 bucks a gallon. The Flying J at I-4 exit 10 near Tampa is $1.979 YAAHOOO!!!!
The Sunoco on 19 in St Pete just came down to 2.059. Things are beginning to be looking up (or should I say down).

Ain't it funny how these fuel prices work.
Just last spring, before I left Florida, I was thrilled if I could buy diesel below 1.48 a gallon and was so glad I wasn't driving a gasser and paying 1.65 a gallon. Now I'm ready to celebrate getting diesel for under 2 bucks.

If you need to check fuel prices before you travel go to http://www.dieselboss.com/fuel.htm and click on the fuel stops to see who offers the best price along you route.

Excellent site. Thanks! It's also a good way to compare prices state to state for when traveling. Do I stop and fill up before hitting the state line or after? I'll make some notes when planning our routes.

Steve, I almost always stop at the WalMart in Vernon, Texas on my way to Colorado to fill up with diesel. Many of the WalMarts in this area do have diesel, BUT ... not all, that's for sure.

Thanks, David. I wish they'd announce diesel prominently since we're often in areas we're unfamiliar with.

And, I should have added, they do give a 3 cent per gallon discount WITH a WalMart Card. (which I do not have.)

Before we started fulltiming we used the walmart card to save a few cents per gallon at the walmart station. That one did not have diesel, though. And they don't have a sign advertising prices. When on the road, if they had signs out showing they have diesel I'd stop if we needed fuel. But they don't so we don't want to navigate the crowds just to find out they don't have diesel anyhow.

Know what you mean, Steve. We've learned to try to see what's out there BEFORE we make the decision to 'turn in'. It's not like driving a sports car!
