Ford Class Action Settlement

Anyone get this for the 2003 - 2007 Ford 6.0 Liter diesel?

If you've had to have any of the following replaced:
EGR Cooler, you can get up to $475
Oil Cooler, you can get up to $525
Oil Cooler & EGR Cooler, you can get up to $825
EGR Valve, you can get up to $200
Turbocharger, you can get up to $750
Fuel Injector, you can get up to $375 for 1 injector, $125 for each additional

And if the settlement is approved you will get the above after filling out a claim form.

I can scan the 4 pages in and e-mail it to anyone who might need to see it. Just let me know your e-mail.

I got it also. But read 5a carefully. If you had a failure of a specified part after the 5 yr/100K warranty but before 6 yrs/135K miles AND that part had been previously repaired under warranty THEN you may get a payment.
And note the lawyers get over $14 million, and plaintiffs may get a few hundred each.

I got mine today. Problem is I never had any trouble with the truck other than a turbo hose.

I'm worse off than you mlh. I haven't even had that problem or any other problem. The suspense is killing me. Over 93,000 and still running okay. I keep waiting for the Kapow! after posting like this. Isn't that how bad news works?

This week, I received 2 post cards and the letter, all from different attys. I've replaced the E G R, and two injectors. I'll read the letter again. Bill

Wish I could say that. My first '06 6.0L died at 58,000. A rebuilt engine was put in. At 32,000 on the new engine the oil cooler decided to send oil into the water jackets. At 38,500 that part of the computer that controls fuel flow failed (approximately $750 as it was not part of the warranty on the new engine). At 52,000 miles, 7 of 8 injectors went out of tolerance. 2 of them failed completely ($1700). Ford would not apply warranty because I was 2 months outside the warranty period.

So, we replaced the 2 failures, drove the truck across the street and traded for a new Dodge. The Dodge has been great but I still miss my F350 with all the goodies it had.
